Some people seem not minding to have Raubahn Extreme Mode come back, this time with a mechanical arm made by Garlond Ironwork.

I have good news- the game isn't going away & you can actually play it when you have time
I'd rather have a good experience & am happy with the decision to delay
I would.. VERY much appreciate it if SE never had a major release during November/December. It's just added stress to this hell-season..
The game doesn't go anywhere, but the chance to discover it together with all of my very busy friends does.
It's like saying "Don't be upset the music festival got pushed back to a time where you can't go, you still have the CDs." MMO launches are social events. Barring some miracles, this is going to be an extremely lonely launch for many of us.

~sigh~
I had specifically made time, so had many others, that's kind of the issue.

The whole 'slight delay so it is up to standard and runs smooth' has me worried, can anyone remember a release where that has actually worked?

I agree with having a good experience, buuut this has messed up a lot of plans, and will be damaging going forwards, and a lot of the player base will be significantly behind because of it. 2 months I can agree with being a suitable delay, not 2 weeks.
To the people saying this is not Yoshida's decision, he himself said that it is and he had to ask his superiors to permit him to delay the game.
As a full time retail worker, it's the opposite for me. 2 weeks is fine for a delay, but not 2 months, as I've already waited a long time for the expansion.
I've already scheduled days off for the original early access, but I used unpaid time off, so now I'm keeping those dates off and just requested more unpaid time off for the new early access dates while picking up extra shifts on my regular days off to bring my hours nearly up to a regular week. If my manager can't afford to approve the new dates, I'll just take a little longer to play, but it will still be better than a delay of 2 months.
I realize not everybody is as flexible as me, but it still doesn't justify a delay longer than needed for a global release of a game.
Look can we be real here. Take a step out from the game and see the world for what it is - ruthless. I'm sure this wasn't a Yoshi P decision, but one from the higher ups that are probably fed up with blizzards practices. I am too, they always pull stupid crap like what they are trying to do for endwalker's initial release. In my eyes, it is great that they are playing with them at their own game, and this isn't a FOMO thing for them. It is to make sure they get the player count they have worked so hard to attain, so let them have that without being fruity about it. Gaming companies are still businesses, you have to respect that fact, and at least square as a business are not disgusting like Blizzard are. Let them have this one and just wait.
If you booked a holiday just shift it real quick.
It's unfortunate for situations like yours, but the content won't go anywhere and the savage raids can always be done later (with sync options if it gets echo added).
It was a decision by Yoshi-P, not higher ups. We are all expecting there will be more congestion than we have ever seen and this will be worse if there is large bug that isn't found by QA, so they need more time.I'm sure this wasn't a Yoshi P decision, but one from the higher ups that are probably fed up with blizzards practices. SE made the decision they had to make. Rather they invest some extra time into testing the performance of the game so we don't have Raubahn EX 2.
I doubt they made this decision lightly.
Besides, most of us already have Endwalker preordered. What's two more weeks?
