As I said before I think a delay is the right decision, especially if the alternative is an unstable buggy release so I will always support a delay if its needed. Especially when it comes from a game developer with an otherwise solid track record of on time delivery.

While this isn't the place to discuss politics it strikes me that the real villain of the piece is the dreadful work life balance many people have to live with, especially in the US. I didn't book time off for this launch but if I had it would have been very easy for me to cancel that leave. I find the very idea that one has to "request" vacation days to be nauseating, I have to give a month's notice for paid leave and as long as I do I'm not requesting anything, I'm informing people I won't be at work.

There seems to be a growing movement in the US of people who want work/life balance reform and I support that entirely.
Not more condescending and vitriolic than about 80% of users on the OF.

I understand their reasoning for delays and I have been around gaming for quite a while now. This being SE and japanese work ethics, I have faith in their vision and products, unlike the west.

Yes. People hate their lifes so much in fact that their only way to find solace is escapism in gaming. It says alot about our societies when people look forward more to the release of an expansion, than let's say holidays or Christmas.

With all of that being said, another villain is social media and how well most of humanity would be of if it got deleted in its entirety. No more drama or hype culture for the most part.
