Bad decision by SE

This is the problem, those of us in retail can't December is a no holiday month for retail workers, as its super busy with xmas shoppers, and into January too, so this move is actually far more detrimental for retail workers, then the office people, who don't have 2 months of a calender blocked out, because they can't afford staff shortages, in the biggest taking season.

Given the hype that goes into an expansion launch, better late than bad. If they say they have things that still need work, let 'em work.

I don't really think the decision to delay it, or even to sell during December, is a bad one.

The bad decision here was to wait so long before delaying. Since it's led to people's schedules being fixed around the current date. If they'd delayed much sooner then people would likely be less upset.

That said I have no idea if febuary/march would be better for the community, but if it did happen to be that long I'd be happy to wait.

Endwalker isn't FOMO, though... if you go play Mage Tower or Timewalking, Endwalker wouldn't just poof.
It is FOMO for launch week experience though, I suppose. Just play both games together?

This is why you shouldn't take days off of work simply to play a game. I easily could at my job, but have never done so even once. Game isn't going anywhere. Content isn't going anywhere. This isn't WoW after all.

Right decision they needed more time. Personally I still have lots to do before Endwalker and not having that release during the holiday season is good for many of us.

No matter whats written here players will always defend SE, personally i believe this to be an absolute dick move. We are 2 Weeks before release and now they realise ... maybe we need more time ... so should we add a day or 2? "nah mate smack em with the 2 week extender"

The server will burn the first 3 days anyway. We never had a clean start and the stars are currently aligned for a real bad one anyway due to the player influx and SE having not even answered that problem, once the players who return just for EW are here ontop of that its not gonna be easier.

And in response to if we rather have a clean game or Rauhban ex, that was 1 day and you were free to level other things.

HW had a 3 sec delay in coertas, SB had Rauhbahn EX, ShB had random crashes, but you believe those 2 weeks will bring the golden age ... oof
