No one said I was upset about people being upset about the delay. I was merely pointing towards the futile waste of energy you people exude. On both sides of the argument. It's your life, do whatever you want.If you don't like people being upset about the delay, then don't read the posts that are upset about the delay. You look ridiculous coming in here trying to "dunk on" people for not having the same c'est la vie mentality as you do on this topic. But I guess you don't get to go around acting superior if you just ignore the things you don't like.

Imagine being so far above the issue that you have to come start an argument just to tell people that you don't care about the issue and they shouldn't either.
Whatever I did seemed to work apparently.
What should the man do? Commit seppeku because some people are disenfranchised because they booked their holidays around that date? Yoshi P has apologized, simple as that. Delays are unfortunate, always will be. But it's just a product, and 2 weeks isn't much in my opinion.
Same for the people that seem to hate on others purely for the fact they're disappointed. Very petty I must admit. Some people really were looking forward to it before the delay.
Do I think I'm superior? Nope. But if it were me this thread wouldn't have really existed.
Early access was schedule during Black Friday week and as all our customers are retailers we're not allowed to book that week off in my job. They already chose a busy week for retail in their original EA release and one no doubt a number of retailers will have restricted time off.I am writing this today, as SE made a very poor judgment, which effects many of us across the globe, and to this, will cause issues for far too many of us.
December and January is a busy time for retail, and it requires full staff to avoid disruption. Many of us, kept our annual leave days, so we could play and enjoy the Endwalker story at its original release dats, this will now not happen, because of the bad decision to move it into the worst time of year for retail workers. Some like myslef won't be able to enjoy the story until at least February or March now, or to be able to keep up with savage raiding, will have to skip the story entirely, as of this poor new release.
To counter this, and stop you ruining a lot of players fun and the want to enjoy the game and story properly, you need to either honour your original release date, or the release needs to be postponed until at least February or March 2020, so the whole player base can enjoy the story without rushing or skipping, to keep up with endgame progression.
This is one of the worst decisions in SE history along with the making of "The Avengers" game.
But if it's not ready, it's not ready. So many games get released before they're ready and it's a mess. They're not the sort to make this decision flippantly.
It sucks. It happens. But I'd rather it late and working properly than on time and broken.

Don't revolve your life around a video game.

"The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater."
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring
