Thoughts on Relocation removal

I really like the idea of having a 90 day cooldown(or even longer) on relocation if it means we can still just acquire any open plot. That seems like it would be a fair compromise. Perhaps its something that could only be available in first come first serve wards?

I'm sad I was hoping to relo to a medium when people jumped ship to Ishgard. I wish they still allowed reloing for the older wards, but my med dream is dead.

The FC leadership reform too. So maybe the good will outweigh the bad at the end? I hope so.

Well, my newest saving for FC house upgrade is done, so, I might test the lottery whenever that rolls around to see how that works
Buut... I also know people will never stop complaining about something new next...

I don't think there is a good solution to this issue. As others have pointed out, housing in this game is so limited that it's a lose-lose situation.

I think adding larger apartments would help in the short term.

Well, if they decide that a lottery is the best solution going forward for all wards...I may never be able to move. I'm glad to have a house at all, and I do like my plot and its location...but I really did want one in Ishgard. My chances will be so low that it won't really matter. It's nice that we CAN relocate should we win the lottery, but as I said, the chances are going to be astronomically low.

As someone that was fishing for a medium without luck and hoped I could relocate... It stings for a bit tbh. I'm glad they're changing the system and I understand its problems, but yeah knowing how it used to be and that I never really was able to get what I wanted out of it will make me a bit pissed off. Hah I wish this solution was here sooner, but better late than never.
I also kinda wish they could make the timer better as well.

Something like this for me too. Was thinking of saving some more and entering to lottery for larger. It is unsure situation anyway, might as well go with bang.

I'm fine with this. I say why not give the ones who have been shafted FC/Personal housing a good, fair shot at the new stuff. If I don't get a house in Ishgard it's not the end of the world for me. I hope the most patient, deserving groups get housing this time around!

As somebody who has owned the same Medium sense mid SB in the goblet. I am really sad about this. I had to work hard sense the start of SHB to get enough to relocate. I just got enough in Oct for a Medium Relo and now its not an option anymore.

Being on my server (lamia) its a nightmare to get a house to begin with. I am torn. On one hand I see why its being taken out and I appreciate the consideration for new owners.

However as veteran who has worked hard to get the option to finally move house's only to be denied that altogether feels terrible.

And before any one says anything about not having to go through the timer to get my house. I did sit around for three of my friends houses 6-9 hours each house. To help get their's.

So I know the grind is real. These are still how I personally feel though.

Tldr: I don't think its right to remove an option from veterans house owners like this.
