No Job Quests in Endwalker

Though it is a little funny that the RDM one was entirely "Let's look forward to more journeys soon!"

I've said it before, though I lose track of where – my wildcard prediction for Endwalker is that X'rhun Tia turns up somewhere in it. He's got allies in the Scions and in Sharlayan and doesn't need much introduction whether you've done the RDM quests or not. So we might get more time with him even if the job quests are over.

Or it might just be an open-ended conclusion and they had no future plans when they wrote it.

That would be a nice idea, actually, since he trained Alisaie and they could meet again.

From what I can think of, Estinien is the only prominent job-related npc we meet/interact with in the MSQ [and Y'Mhitra, for like, 5 minutes, if it counts]

They were nice, but no Im not upset or disappointed that we have another expansion without them, especially since they are replacing it with Role Quests, which I think are also great.,
Dont know if the will have story significance like ShB's did, but if they do Im sure Ill love them. Gimme that Lore BBY

Plus cmon, we have how many Jobs in the game now? Jeeze imagine writing storylines for ALL of those jobs while also making rewards, on top of Raid storylines and MSQ and more...just....I dont blame them for winding it back abit, just like they took a break from Hildibrand.
Who knows, maybe we will see a return in the future.

Eh. Role quests work better as not everyone will level every Job to 90 but plenty will have multiple job roles leveled up.

Just another way square has found a way to give us less and less content as time goes on.

Wouldn't be surprised if we didn't even have role quests in another expansion or two.

I don't really mind it. Sure, I like a lot of the job quests and NPCs, but even some of the level 80 quests began to feel to me like they were reaching the limits of what could be done with those same groups. With the amount of jobs that are in the game now and the effort required to write a whole questline for each one per expansion, I'm fine with just having the role quests. There are still plenty of other interesting questlines in the game to enjoy.

Yet more corner cutting as time goes on, is anyone really surprised? Would have happened sooner or later anyway since they add at least two jobs every expac.

I didnt expect much from the SMN quests since they weren't that great since the start but damn...
Sucks that the last SMN quest wasn't really even about summoners...

Hope they won't abandon the idea of job quests forever, as the jobs' different stories and characters really added to the fantasy of the job.
Would love to see an expansion like WoW's Legion in the future that focuses entirely on the smaller-scale, and more focused stories of the different disciplines.

Definitely a disappointment for me. I wasn't expecting them to give us a full set for every job but it would have been nice to at least get a level 90 quest for each job. I know they said "Well, every story is basically finished anyway" but that definitely didn't feel like the case with my main job, RDM.

I wouldn’t personally care, if only for the fact jobs start later and later meaning new jobs won’t have any job quests in 7.0 starting at the ridiculous level of 80. Not even sure Sage and Reaper get any
