No Job Quests in Endwalker

Is anyone else disappointed by the confirmation of no new Job Quests in Endwalker? I really enjoyed the unique Questlines for each Job that made me really feel like I was a student of that discipline. Sure, like they said in the Live Letter, some questlines felt like they'd reached a satisfying conclusion, but others felt like they still had more room to be explored. Like Dancer; Endwalker will see us visiting the discipline's homeland of Thavnair, yet there won't be any quest for players of the Job to explore that?

And what does this mean for Reaper and Sage? That we'll just get the Quest to unlock the job and that's it?

I really hope they will reconsider. I really enjoyed the ones from 5.0, especially SCH and NIN.

Not really, but that's mostly because I never expected them to return. They even said awhile back that role quests would be the model going forward.

Nope. Some of those stories were going nowhere fast. Better to end a good story at the right time than let a bad one go on forever.

They said no level 90 job quests, there are still going to be quests for reaper and sage. Probably every two levels from 70 to 80.

While a lot of people enjoyed these job quests. I for one did not enjoy them at all, I found most of the to be tedious and a time sink. so I say I would not be disappointed.

I am over the moon about there being no job quests. Role quests felt good and connected to the lands we are adventuring in, and I felt excited to go complete them as my respective role jobs leveled up. While we have had job quests that worked closely with the MSQ (DRG leaps immediately to mind), the mandatory and isolated nature of job quests always felt like the story train hit a hard break to go do something completely unrelated to pick up an important skill.

New jobs should have their introductory story in the ten levels before they hit the new MSQ, but role quests are more than sufficient for me.

Wasnt too surprising since the Shadowbringers job quests were just going back for some cutscenes with NPCs from previous job quests to get some free materia.

The cutoff works with some jobs better than others.
Many of them felt like they were at solid end points, and DRK's is all the better for that 80 capstone being the final installment.
Though it is a little funny that the RDM one was entirely "Let's look forward to more journeys soon!"

Overall?
No, I never really understood why the jobs had so much story in the first place and considering they burned out doing Hildebrand and had to take a break for an expac I'm sure they were itching to stop pumping out obligatory job quests.

They were nice, but no Im not upset or disappointed that we have another expansion without them, especially since they are replacing it with Role Quests, which I think are also great.,
Dont know if the will have story significance like ShB's did, but if they do Im sure Ill love them. Gimme that Lore BBY

Plus cmon, we have how many Jobs in the game now? Jeeze imagine writing storylines for ALL of those jobs while also making rewards, on top of Raid storylines and MSQ and more...just....I dont blame them for winding it back abit, just like they took a break from Hildibrand.
Who knows, maybe we will see a return in the future.
