Overworld party duration

Hello there. In order to solve my problem let's say we have 3 players in a party that are staying in Gridania. "A" is the leader, that is playing all the time and never leaves. "B" is also a player who never stops playing. "C" logged out. How long could "C" remain in the party without getting auto kicked? ("A" never kicks him)

If the party leader is offline for a certain time, leadership will be passed to another member; if no members are online, the party will disband.

However, if just one person is offline, I am not sure there is ever an automatic kick outside of dungeons (only an automatic leadership transfer) - I believe, at that point, it's expected that the party leader will remove them if such is desired.

edit: Looks like there is. I've never had an offline person in party long enough to see it, but maybe someone has timed it.

There is an automated kick.
I just realized earlier this week.
My friend never left the party before logging off and I never noticed. It was quite awhile before they got auto kicked though. Can't quite remember how long it was.

How long C remains varies. It can take a few hours so I'm not sure what exactly makes it happen.
