1 week since my last message here, can confirm that I'm still losing packets on the evenings. Problem was gone for 2 days and it was perfectly fine, until yesterday it returned back. Gotta keep this topic on top to attract attention.
Same here today in Syrcus Tower.
On LAN connection via Router / Provider: Deutsche Telekom
Server Twintania.
See traceroute, it seems Server are permanently overload.

Experiencing very frequent disconnects as well, it's frustrating.
Everything else works fine, it's only FFXIV and it's only been these past few weeks.
I've also been having connection issues the past several days. Seems to always be an issue with the ntt nodes and the servers themselves(perhaps). It happens both just sitting around in the cities or running content. Sometimes it will drop only a couple times while sometimes a whole lot more.

On Cactuar and the server works perfectly, except roughly once a day it starts to act up for an hour or so and it will repeatedly boot you out. I'm playing from Sweden though which might greatly affect the routing, but I've played the entire story up to and including Shadowbringers before on the same server and it was nowhere near this bad. It started roughly 2-3 weeks ago or so I think.

Same issue here, I cant even play anymore the hour doesnt even matter
When it comes to NTT poor network (packet loss), it seems its the route from NA to Square that is the problem, my friends in Australia who connect to my datactr (primal) have very little disconnects WHILE in game. (Not queue related).

Yeah, it seems most the issues stem from the NTT network and that is where all the packet loss is happening. It is also region specific even in the US as not ALL US folks experience the issue at the same time. Depends on the routing of the individuals connection.

I'm just gonna throw something random in the wind if this could be a alternate possibility.
could FFXIV have a memory leak problem?
