Will the upcoming expansion fix the hairstyles for the Viera?

I've heard some people say that the upcoming expansion will fix the hairstyles for the Viera like I'm able to wear unlockable hairstyles for the race like the pony tails or the lengths that you get from the golden saucer for example.

Is it true?

As far as I recall, they were working on hairstyles for viera (even showed pictures), and found a way to implement them easier. Should be somewhere in that one viera megathread. Just don't expect everything to be "fixed", I'd say.

They did say when they showed that image that it was a "new" hairstyle on a Viera and that there would be more, but Zepla mentioned that no new hairstyles were available in character creation in the preview she did. I assume there wasn't an aesthetician in the build they played because that's where they'd show up.

The stubble for male Midlander was also confirmed and shown already, (on a new face, so they'll have to Fantasia to get access to it) so there might be more news coming regarding hairstyles as well.

Hard to tell for sure with the stance, but are we sure this isn't a male? They would have different hairstyles.

Meoni asked about Viera and Hroth headgear/hairstyles. Yoshi P answers that they've "changed the specifications for Viera" and that we "will see more hairstyles for Viera" He doesn't specify whether that applies retroactively to existing unlockable hairstyles or just to new endwalker styles and others going forward.

I'm pretty sure it's a female Viera, but even if it wasn't that's not one of the male styles but one you can buy with MGP.

Ponytail style from the Gold Saucer – from the prize exchange at the main counter rather than the Modern Aesthetics saleswoman.

(They really need to rearrange the prize lists there so they make more sense.)
