    Where to announce Streaming

So I have a general question, where would it be best to announce if your streaming? I've recently returned to the game (obviously for Endwalker) and decided to make a brand new character to play through the whole story again and stream it. However, I'm not wanting to be that guy that just spams in chat that I'm streaming. Like where would be best to just go "Hey I'm streaming" and if people want to watch someone that's new to doing that kinda thing run the main story and other things, then cool. Just you know not annoy everyone with it.

I did a bit of streaming a couple years ago. I would tell people I am streaming whenever I started any alliance raid and would pull in quite a few people that way. Be aware some people will attempt to thwart your efforts with negativity. Ignore them and move on. Do not spam your message though as this can get you into issues with SE.

If you're really public about it in-game (shout chat, duty finder party chat, yell, etc.) you may run afoul of RMT rules and community attitudes.

Most of the FF streamers I play with cultivated viewership through FF community discords that permit advertisement, and random viewers simply clicking into their streams. Many do 'charitable' community activities, like hosting learning parties and in-game events, where it's a little more acceptable for them to do a bit of self-promotion.

There are also FCs / Communities that are composed of lots of small streamers that typically allow their friends and members to self-promote their streams in the FC/community discord. Befriending other streamers can be a pretty quick way to grow viewership, and will help you populate events and parties when you get around to hosting them.

That's actually a pretty good idea thanks. ^^ And don't worry I won't listen to them, if I did I wouldn't have even attempted as I have some people in my social circle that don't think I'm entertaining enough to be a streamer at all. XD

Well I'm actively trying not to spam it, so I guess when I get on and start streaming I'll do a shout, but that'll be about it. Really in the long run, once I get enough alts on the new server leveled, I would want to do event stuff. Like weekly map runs, where I'll provide a bunch of maps for people, and glamour contests and stuff like that. I was kinda hoping to set up my own FC and get a house to do community stuff with eventually.
