How did you maintain your sanity doing the ARR Beast Tribes without flying?

You think just not having flying was bad, getting hit while mounted used to have like a 50% chance to put heavy on you. And beast tribe areas are dense with mobs.

Things tends to get easier/harder when there are choices.
Since there weren't any back then it was "normal" and that was fine.

I did them at-level with various jobs... I think at the time, it was a morning ritual to log on and play a little before work, and I would always do my beast tribes while catching up on my YouTube subs or watching Twitch or something. Kind of tune out... It was relaxing.

New beast tribes, can get all the daily quests done for for a tribe in less than five minutes per tribe! Honestly I think it's for the better, as long as the story quests are good.

You can actually turn off mount music in the sound settings.

System --> System Configuration --> Sound --> Play Music When Mounted (Toggle this off)

I thought I'd never need to touch that setting because I like mount music... until I reached Ahm Araeng and Il Mehg, haha.

Its not that bad as long as you know where the mobs are facing.
The worse one was kobold quests.
Bad camera angle in the mine made it harder than it should be.

I got the ground speed increases from hunting which allow you to travel at lightning speed. Combined with how small ARR areas are, it really wasn't a problem.

ARR areas aren't even painful to navigate on foot, so it was pretty easy to maintain my sanity all the way up till they added flying to them.
