What do you guys think Y'shtola's next job class evolution will be?

I doubt the Scions are due for any major casualties, but I'm hoping they'll stay behind while we move on to new regions in 7.0. Let them hang around and put Eorzea back together while we go off to Meracydia or the New World or another Shard or something. We can pop in to the Rising Stones for exposition on whatever magical mystery comes up, just enough to keep them around, and then go back to our new adventures.

If you think about it, it was never job changes but first jobs.

Y'shtola was a conjurer, Thancred a rogue, Urianger arcanist.
Now Alphinaud finally gets one as well, going from a fake Scholar job.
You could debate that Sorceress is something else than WHM and BLM slapped together and therefore not a job.

But I don't think they will change soon, except if a new caster job that completely fits Y'shtola happens to be introduced.

If I remember well, Yoshida mentioned that the character going to the next arc will depend on their popularity. If Y'shtola is tiring the community, she might just not (or rarely) appear in the next arcs.

Though, if there are another 10 years of support in the works, I'd be surprised if any Scions sticking with us don't change their job again during that stretch.

I doubt they will change her job again because I just can't see her job evolution going any further. I'd probably say the same about the other Scions. We got to watch them develop over the years and I'd be willing to bet that what they are now is their final form. And we are already getting a Sage, so...

Yeah this has to be final form for her, her outfit is pretty nice, but if it ever does happen, it wont be anytime soon.

I don't see her changing jobs again. However, I can see her returning to the First.

I think at most Tataru will sew her a new dress. So thinking nothing new.

Retirement is the job she should change into.
There's nothing worse than holding on to characters that had their run, it's too bad she only truly "shined" in shb for me but I'm honestly sick of most of the 2.0+ cast. The only character from the scions I actually feel something for is Alphinaud since he has been with us for the majority of the time but Yshtola really doesn't serve anything more than being a convenient lore dump.

So no don't give her or anyone else another job change, if the devs truly can't part from this character than ig staying the way she is should be fine but I'd be kinda pissed if she gets another upgrade to her wardrobe, that comes with yet another minion, while other characters are being left in the dust.
