What do you guys think Y'shtola's next job class evolution will be?

She was a conjurer throughout 1.0 to Stormblood and then learned thramaturge and became a Sorceress in Shadowbringers.

I suspect that she'll remain in her current unique job class for at least the next 2-3 expansions, if she's still alive that is. But I'm genuinely curious what she'll become next.

She's already sort of in a way a traditional FF Sage, but just focuses on offensive magic, save for the occasional shield magic she uses still in MSQ cutscene. So maybe she'll end up become a full blown traditional FF Sage in later expansions.

But what is everyone else's thoughts? do you guys think Y'shtola will have further job class evolutions in the future or do you think she'll stay as she is until her role as a Scion ends, either abruptly due to severe injury, finding another calling in life as Lyse did or dying?

I doubt they will change her job again because I just can't see her job evolution going any further. I'd probably say the same about the other Scions. We got to watch them develop over the years and I'd be willing to bet that what they are now is their final form. And we are already getting a Sage, so...

Thancred changed to GNB when it was new.
Alphinaud changed to SGE when it was new.
IF Y'shtola ever changes to a new job it will probably be to a job as it's being added to the game.

Sure, sometimes characters swap to existing jobs, like Urianger becoming an AST, but no existing one feels appropriate for her so my money is on something new.

I preferred WHM Y'shtola personally. But if she wants to switch things up, she needs a bit more melee in her life - reaper maybe? She's going darker after all.

next expansion's new jobs will probably be a ranged and a caster. I can't see Y'shtola being a ranged dps so it will be the new caster. Although they could give it to Alisaie because she's been itching for a new job. And her last job change was 3.4 so Alisaie will probably get a new job before Y'shtola

She'd probably survive that too because she's Y'shtola. That cat most likely has the lifestream on speed dial or something at this point.

I don't think she will change again. She changed because they needed to balance out the roles in the trust system (moving her from Heals to Dps.). Though they could change her job in the future, I guess if they would do it again I would guess a future job that isn't in the game just yet.
