Hide/Display Tail Option For Miqo'te And Au Ra

To be honest, I'm not sure why you would want to hide one of the only defining features of the game's already homogenized races?

That's like me wanting to hide my character's ears because I don't like how they look in a hooded robe.

I think if clipping is the the issue, the better solution is not hiding the tail, but stopping the clipping, like they did in 1.0. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have any interest in it, because it would take too much time to model the armor.

I agree fixing the clipping would be preferential, but seeing as how it would take so much time, that's why I suggest this option. I see it as the tail is more of an "extra", where ears are pretty essential lol. And like I said, I can see some people roleplaying a Miqo'te who lost their tail as a child or something. =p

That and I know some people HATE the tail. Most of the criticisms I see of us cat people are our tails. =( Maybe we'd convert more people to the master race if they were optional... xD

SE also could maybe design pieces that actually not clips with everything. Be it hair/tails/boots/whatsoever. That would be nice.

Yeah I wish the tail felt more "accommodated" with these pieces of gear that clip. When it clips like that, it just feels like the tail is stuck on. =X

They could just put tail holes in gear for the tailed races instead of chopping off the tails all together.

Why be a race with a tail if you don't want the tail?
Don't tell me "emotes" or something like that. That's silly. It's part of the package. Your tail is involved in emotes.

I wish they would fix the clipping, yes, and like..the full body suits could probably do with the hide tail option because....full body suit.... but as for that? No. Deal with your lovely tail. Don't chop it off

If I was snarky, I'd suggest everyone who wants to use that option gets a free fantasia in the mail.

Chocobo suit aside, I don't think hiding it would fit any armor to just hide the tail. And I can't really consider clipping any worse than randomly cutting off and gluing on body parts.
