Honestly most of it I already missed or forgot.

A lot happens in this game, it's a lot easier to read concise answers from people who understand the lore.
And if its a spoiler, it doesn't matter to me. I'm not gonna get mad because I learned x or y before it actually happened, it doesn't ruin anything for me.

No shade and no insult meant, sometimes a story can come across hard to connect. And yes as others have already said, most if not all of your questions will be answered just by continuing to play the MSQ.

Yeah, the game has a lot of plot and it's not always so easy to understand, maybe on a second playthough I might go 'aha so that was who that was'

Kinda echoing others- I suggest getting through the story to where Heavansward starts, then rewatch the cutscenes that covers between ARR and HW.

There's a lot of filler between scenes, so yeah, you might be zonked out getting through it. Just get to where you can access Ishgard (city) then spend a good 20 minutes in the inn to review.

Alternatively, google a story summary for the part of the game you're done with (so I would guess for you an ARR and pre HW)

I'm going to echo what a lot of other people are saying; keep playing through Heavensward since a lot of the questions will be answered. Also, I'd watch those videos Kaynide posted because a lot of the groundwork for the Shadowbringers storyline is laid out in ARR. You run the risk of being a bit lost in ShB if you don't have a grasp of ARR.
