    Commendations is a pretty meaningless and lousy system, I agree with that. I don't think it's ever going to change though.. Pointless as it is, casual players really like their magical meaningless gamer points that they get for completely arbitrary reasons mainly.

    Aren't all points meaningless gamer points? Log rankings, "score" at the end of a dungeon, etc.

    This just seems antagonistic for no reason lol

    It's not antagonistic, it's reality. Logs at least demonstrate objective reality by offering actual numbers for things that matter. I never proposed a scoring system so I don't see why you would bring that up. If you think me saying "commendations are pointless" is antagonizing you then maybe you care too much about commendations.
