Why should I need someone to grade my performance??

Not someone it would be private grade after completing whatever it is.
And the reason is to see how u can improve and actrually have a reason to give a shit about how well ur playing.


In order to have a goal to get a better score and work ur way up from noob to god skill lvl a self challenge..
It is a way to set a goal on how well u want to do and try over and over until you reach it.

Plus it also allows you to know what job you are best at which is always fun

Pushing yoursekf to limit and becoming the best is fun

If i play like trash in something i want to know so i can improve..

Nice conclusion to make, but again I don't want anyone judging my performance. Let only FFLogs does it, not by official one. That only lead to bullying and I bet SE don't like this happened.

So heres how id do it

100 points in each field

Failed macs -5 points each one
Failed dodging -10 points
Damage: will be differnt based on three things speed of ur damage, attack power, and how well u used it.
So lets say i failed mch 5 times
75% on mch
Now if i got hit 7 times
30% on damage taking
Now for damage i get a penality of 12 for above so my damage is reduced by that amount
My score would be b or so

Now for ur
U do all mch
100
U get hit lets say 3 times
70
Now for ur Damag e u get a bonus of 10 for mch but - 3
Lets say near perfect 90+10-3

We’re not allowed to be blunt about a player’s performance in-game. Not without fluffing it up with purple prose and saturating it with fake niceties. Square wouldn’t dare entertain the thought of letting us give someone an actual factual F. Plus the idea is bound to be abused if implemented. Imagine trying your best and someone gives you an F because they don’t like your glam or your character’s race. It’s impossible to tell if the grade was honest or not.

Edit; I see you meant a computerized grading system. I doubt that would fly either. Casuals don’t want to know and don’t care.

Again players wont be the one doing the game itself will not the players it will just read the log and add in a mch part to log..

Players will have no ability to grafe another instead the game automatically does it

This removes player judging other player the game itself will do it and guide you to improve.

Maybe with a sad moogle if u got a f and if you got a S a super happy one

The problem is that casuals don’t care. And the players who do care have their own tools that they remain tight-lipped about. Why bother to waste development time when the majority of the player base doesn’t want it? FF is overwhelmingly casual, from my perspective. And this is coming from someone who Savage raids, personally.

Heres why consoling playing gets no tools, and the contet that is a test of skill isnt really what i consider "enjoyable" because u end up on discord with ppl yelling in ur ear and as a shy person i hate talking irl..

Im sure others in my postion exist want a way to have that hardcore playimg without a huge ass group yelling directly into your ear blowing out your ear. Honestly the main reason is i don't want to deal with ppl unless its rp.
I hate people not to he mean but i find them stressfull to be around when it comes to things that ppl enforce talking on.

Plus honestly it would be a way to allow them to develop some super fun jobs that are actrually complexe and upgread some more things to a level of game play required.. I mean damn in endwalker we will be 90 no excuse for braindead job playing at this point

I can tell you this idea of yours will never happen.
First of all, where the game has a hard no on using damage meters to express how good/bad someone is, this is in the exact same ball field.
Second, do you realise how much time and resources would be needed for this? You want a grading system for every individual duties in the game. That would also need to be modified after any ability changes.

It's not nearly as simple as you say. Sure they may have the logs bit then you have other issues like
-not all jobs are the same
-theres utility to calculate
-not all dungeons are the same length
-not all dungeons have the same amount of damage to dish out
-is the grading based on overall averages or on the best of the best
-grading would need to be adjusted with any ability or stat changes
-is communication calculated in this
I could think of some more as well but this is just a few things.
