[Req] Gatherer / Crafter Artifact Armor Glamors for Battle Classes/Jobs

For over 3 years, ever since I saw the level 50 AF crafter/gather gear, I've wanted to use some of them as part of my DoM/DoW outfits.

Now, I see that the Chinese (and possibly Korean?) servers do have this option.





Please allow us to obtain these as well! There are ways to make this available to us without Cash Shop. The level 50/Level 60 achievements for each respective Crafter or Gatherer could unlock an All Classes lvl 1 Glamor version of the AF 50/60 piece from the man in Gridania.

Edit: If you are worried about people who didn't level the respective DoL/DoH:
Yes, in a MassivelyOverpowered PAX East article/interview, it was mentioned "the items require you to have an appropriately leveled gatherer or crafter in order to use them; they should not be commonly in use."

As I and some others mentioned, one way around Cash Shop is attaching the item reward sets to the achievement title that you receive for getting respective crafter/gatherer to 50 and 60.
However, I am dubious as to whether or not they would go that route when CHN/KOR gets it in the cash shop.

I highly doubt they'll be anything else over here.

Just out of curiosity, do we have any idea how much the Chinese store is charging for these?

Though I would very much prefer they be made available as in-game craftable level1 glamour items, since it seems a little unfair to expect me to pay extra just to wear something I already have on another class.

Maybe they could make the in-game versions require you to have the specific class unlocked and at the appropriate level to wear the items, and have the cash-shop versions have no requirements? This way you can be rewarded for taking the time and effort to level the class, but still get the items if you're unwilling or just don't have the time to?

Something like this would dovetail nicely into an overhaul of the glamour system to allow other class-restricted glamour items to be used in this way, which I know a lot of people seem to want.

That would be a perfect and utterly reasonable solution, and very difficult to argue against, whether you're for or against this change.

So long it is still new ilevel 1 gears that share the gear models and not the real DoH/DoL gears
Make it cost another set of red scripts again (you have to be a DoH/DoL class before you can glamour your DoM/DoW as a DoH/DoL).
