As opposed to "I'm not sad therefore I'm morally superior"?
Honestly the fact that people come into this thread and openly spit in people's faces for daring to show any kind of sympathy, at the loss of a life no less....I don't understand it. If you genuinely don't care then don't come in here and post? It's the same as turning up to a funeral just to say you don't want to be there and having no sympathy for those involved, you wouldn't do that right? If you don't care then leave the thread.
Just because everything you do is purely performative, doesn't mean that other people operate the same way. It will be significantly easier for you to understand all of this if you stop assuming that other people are wired like you are. There's also the fact that most people, even if they genuinely disagreed with the premise of this thread, would have enough good judgement to understand that looking for arguments in such a thread would be in extremely bad taste. When was the last time you saw a mental health professional? I'd honestly be very curious what they'd have to say, given that the other person you keep agreeing with in this thread has a litany of personality disorders.
Some people just have zero emphaty and respect for other people and or feelings. It's really disgusting behavior and should be ashamed.As opposed to "I'm not sad therefore I'm morally superior"?

I agree at this point it's just trolling. People have tried to explain, myself included that's it not about taking the moral high ground it's just sharing experiences. But they either dont understand or arent reading.
My heart goes out to those of you who posted about recent losses, I remember how acute and raw it still could feel even after some time had passed. Grieving has a weird way of making it feel as if it was last week instead of three years ago. It’s such a crippling kind of pain. A big hug to those here trying to find their way through it.
Funfact, it isn't a "discussion" at all. Your complete lack of empathy isn't really open for discussion since we can observe right here and now what a bitter lonely person you must be. Same goes for the one you quoted.
Weird is, we are indeed morally superior even though you paint these terms in a bad light. Showing empathy towards your fellow humans is in most cultures a respected act, maybe not in yours. Thus indeed we are morally superior to you based on basically all societies on this planet. But hey you wanna be edgy and not mainstream so you have to act like a jerk online cause fork the establishment, right? It's nicer to be a nihilistic sack of kuponuts.
This is very sad news... I enjoyed watching his FFXIV streams, and was worried about the situation with his mother.
I hope he'll feel better as soon as possible ;_;
Be strong, Asmon!

Sad news, but who's Asmongold?
I mean... yeah, that is real sad... but why is it here? What does this have to do with Final Fantasy?
I doubt he would like this tragic loss be used to farm forum likes...
