It is not that hard to write something in a civilized manner and don't start to flame people. Giving advice and requesting doing things in different ways is still allowed as usual, just don't be a D.

Thing is, the first statement is true, the second is a lie.
If you cannot pass without doing the mechanic, you cannot pass without doing the mechanic.
The second one does not express that information and thus fails to convey the needed information.
