as a new player should i buy endwalker now or wait?

so i have been playing for the past three weeks .i have reached at lvl 55 with my summoner and in msq i have just touched the 2.0 msq today .

i have the game uptil shadowbringer .is there any need for me to buy endwalker right now or should i wait for a sale of endwalker on steam or i should just postpone my buying of endwalker till i reach that place in the game ?

The main advantage of buying (preordering) Endwalker now is to get the pre-order bonus which allows you early access to the expansion (a week before launch) as well as the bonus items for preordering, namely, the Menphina Earring which when equipped boosts the battle EXP you receive for each enemy defeated by 30% up to level 80, so it will be very useful for levelling (the other preorder bonus item is a minion of a FFIV character).

But other than that, the only other bonus for getting the next expansion now is if you want to create a male viera character (or change your existing character to one via a vial of Fantasia), which is being added to character creation options with EW.

Otherwise you can wait it out if you'd like til you reach the end of Shadowbringers before investing in it, it's really up to you!

The only reasons to preorder/buy Endwalker now instead of later would be getting the EXP increasing earring (which it looks like from your portrait that you already have? But I know you can get the preorder, get the bonus, then cancel) and other goodies now and then on release, once you hit 70 you can immediately access Reaper and Sage so you could play through Shadowbringers as those classes. Otherwise I don't believe there are any other big QoL things that EW offers that aren't for EW endgame. I believe even male viera are actually tied to Shadowbringers rather than Endwalker, so you could fantasia into that as soon as EW drops if you own Shadowbringers.

Incase it's not said the 30% exp earring is only obtainable from pre-ordering and won't be obtainable after.. the boost can be combined with the 30% exp under lv30 of the freedom ring you get from the House of Novice stuff, the 3% from eating food and if you buy in the mogstation the 10% under lv30 of the Yuna/Tidus/Angel/Devil sets
