Changes to Savage Loot Lock System

this comes up every time a new savage tier is about to come out. system ain't broke. ppl just wanna get stuff fast but they want you to keep playing, so there's nothing you can do about that.

Has nothing to do with getting stuff fast. Do you really think the system stops people from getting near BIS in like a month if not less? People who want to get it that fast will.. They have their alts, that they do split raids with, and they get the gear super quick. It would stop nothing.

What I want is too be able to play with my friends (you know that social thing, mmos are meant for? ), without screwing over their loot. It's tiresome to have to tell "No" to my friends who need a sub or fill in for a clear group, because i already cleared, and they'd lose loot. And if you really think Square Enix does a great job at keeping raiders playing. They do not. Many people who do PVE content. Clear content that is released with a patch in less than a subscriptions worth of time and then leave the game. When most people can get most content they release done in a day to a week, it doesn't do a good job at keeping players there.

And the tomestone currency cap is good enough for slowing down the BIS Acquisition rate.
