Question regarding RMT

Hello, sorry for the probably dumb question.

I'm aware that you cannot sell shop items for gils, but i was wondering;
Can somebody sell His/Her appearance change for gil to somebody else? There is no real trading of goods outside the game, as the fantasia is used by the same user who change his character, so it seems like a kind of a gray area.

I think you're talking about the specifications of your character created? (Height, hairstyle, eye, sizes, etc.) I don't see an issue with that as long as you're not requesting real money services as a trade.

Are you referring to the type of glamour, gear, hairstyle etcetera that a person's character is currently wearing? For the most part you can examine someone see what gear they have on and the current glamour it has on it if applicable. I'd say the only thing they would have to tell you would be probably the hairstyle that they currently have on. This of course it only apply if you are able to examine them within the game however seeing them on the lodestone I think you can still view the gear such though if I'm right.

But as the poster above me said for specific details on character height and so forth you would need to ask them but I think most would just give you the information for free I could be wrong though.

No question was if somebody could sell his character appearance change for gils, meaning that the user getting a paid will drink his own fantasia and change is race/gender as the buyer specified. So there is no trading of goods. Kinda of a strange question, it's more about asking the limits of rmt out of curiosity.

Indeed, sounds confusing. I see if I understand correctly, you give payment and then the seller sells/gives the race gender information to you in exchange for Gil, is that correct?

Person A receive only gils in exchange of using his own fantasia on himself at the person B specification (race and gender). Something like that I guess. To clarify nobody is giving person A real money, he just uses his own assets.

I'll admit, this is such a strange thing to make a thread about. lol

But still, I don't think it would be RMT. "Hey, I'll give you 10k gil to fantasia into a <insert race here>" doesn't really sound like RMT to me, especially since they are providing their own fantasia. All in all it just sounds like a pointless "transaction" to begin with.

Example: You are a streamer, or FC leader and create an “auction event”.

The “winner” gets to choose what the you will change into and glamour you wear, possibly to your embarrassment. Laughs and cheer had by all.

Similarly, an FC member “wins” a raffle for the privilege to redecorate the Fc house to their tastes for a few months, etc etc.

I don’t see a problem as long as it’s done via in game currency.

..as a ridiculous example, imagine a lot of people would pay lots of gil to turn Asmongold into a female Lala in bunny girl fashion.

Yeah that's what it sound in my head too. But you know, the fantasia is still a shop item, so i don't know if it works that way for real, even if the fantasia is bought and used from the same person.
