[RP FC] Dusk Rats – A Roaming Band of Miqo’te

Note: While I unfortunately can't edit the title, the Dusk Rats are officially moving on from the miqo'te only policy. There's no more race restrictions!

Concept
To the free-willed Miqo'te, other races’ way of life - their wont to flock together with their own kind, to overrun nature to build cities, to seek safety and stability in laws and alliances - must seem quite curious indeed.

The Dusk Rats are a roaming group of free spirits - who until recently were comprised of almost exclusively miqo'te - that have banded together in search of companionship, challenging quarry, riches, and the adventure of the unknown. While their backgrounds may differ, almost all of them scorn an unnatural city life, with its oppressive laws and suffocating walls. Instead, they crave to live a life wild and free. While at times their unique moral compass even leads them into theft and brigandry, whether for a just cause or their amusement, these men and women tend to also aim evenly to do right by the needy, punish the unjust, and slay citizen-hunting beasts and terrors, not unlike the adventurers of the realm.

OOC Info:
We’re an FC primarily focused on open world RP. Our goal is to constantly stay on the move as we explore what this vast in-game world has to offer. At the same time, it should allow us to pop our heads into different hubs and social events while pursuing our own plots! If you enjoy light exploration with DMed events sprinkled in, a focus on casual RP and your char doesn't take the laws of the city-states all too seriously, then this might just be the place for you! Feel free to snoop into our Discord if you are curious or want an easier way to organise RP with us. We're usually up for random encounters as we camp out in the world!

Just about 6 months later and we're still alive and kicking. I made a few edits and added our chaosarchives page (take a look at that website if you are a new RPer, you can find a lot of people, FCs and communities there)! After Thanalan, Endwalker happenings and an airship ride to Vylbrand, the Dusk Rats are currently off into the wilds of Upper La Noscea. We are at current not recruiting any more non-miqo'te to not dilute the concept too much, but we're still very open to miqo'te, played by new and experienced RPers alike!

The Dusk Rats are officially moving on from the almost exclusive miqo'te focus and thus the cap on other races, spreading their freedom-loving ways to other like-minded individuals regardless of their feline ears and tails. We're currently out in the Dravanian Forelands, exploring, hunting and more. If you'd like to just hang out, you can find us in one of the old towers in the Chocobo Forest!
