Penelty Point reduction time frame issues

I totally agree with ya friend, kinda makes me 2nd guess talking to or even thinking of helping people I haven't known in game for years.

I don't play a big variety of games, I'm more of stick to one or two for long periods gamer but FFXIV is becoming so obsessed with no one getting their feelings hurt that it's getting crazy like how things are in the real world.

I play games to escape that crap and I really enjoy this community, been here since ARR day 1, but this over obsession on catering to not offending people is becoming exhausting, heck I have a black list for people who offend me, I thought that's what it's for, even those people I wouldn't want em to lose their game, I'd just want em to stay away from me.

Exactly. Still going over all the rules but from the sounds of it they are allowing trolls to mass report everyone in the game for just existing. The over reach of rules to "cover everything" is making it difficult to express yourself or have any communication with strangers. Im all for being nice but the rules allow trolls to abuse them far more then normal players.

My main gripe is with the point drop off system tho as that affects it all in the long term rather then the short term.
