im really just reporting what i found from my code on these forums. i agree sage will end up above whm because of its free healing. but i guess whm can be the "selfish pure healer" and sage the "selfish shield healer"

You didn't take into consideration the gain from blood lilies when heal is required. So for instance you could over 3min+2.5s make them use 2 blood lilies and sage waster 6 GCD shielding.

If Sage is still above, even shielding 6 times in 3mins well then yeah.........

And Sage needs the shield to break for Toxicon. I know there are times when Divine Benision never even gets used up, so they can't count on that.

didnt take heals in consideration because healing is variable and i cant just arbitrarily pick a value.

Lilies are basically WHM's oGCD's when healing is required, since they only have Overheal Plant on a huge cd, Assize and Asylum for aoe oGCD healing and Assize isn't very reliable. In a situation where WHM needed their lilies to heal, AST or Sage could very likely get by on just oGCD's. So you can't really compare them to Sage GCD heals.

Since lilies used for healing are a potency loss (made worse by Glares potency increase) and healing oGCD's are generally free, it doesn't work out in WHM's favor.

Job kit complexity / playflow interest aside, all this would look fine (SGE having the most free healing doable before losing damage, but losing damage most sharply after that threshold, etc.) if fights just actually had enough healing needed to regularly see the latter half of those curves.
