Stop timeout to video with loud music?

Sit too long at the start screen, and it starts playing a video with extremely loud music. Is there any way to stop this short of exiting, then having to log in again once you finish dealing with whatever interruption drew you away from the computer?

Same thing happens if you get kicked for AFK.

Log out, go to character select, or exit game when you need to be away.

Go to the character select screen, the cinematic does not start playing if you idle there.

Hmm, that's where you should go when logging out, or when you get AFK logged, so as not to end up in the cinematic.

Right? Just remember this device. Every other game with two step verification does it. Just log me into the launcher automatically if I log in from the same computer.

For what it's worth, you can change your login screen on the way in so if you do get timed out, you'll get ARR's soft prelude instead of Shadowbringers' blasting opera. It only takes about five seconds.

Doing anything to avoid the AFK timeout is something that specifically called out as actionable.
