Not trying to start a flame war, I think it's just a very good question

Since their fights are exclusive to 1.0, I doubt it. They did say they would return in 2.0, but I believe in a different way. We know in Free Company once you beat Ifrit, the leader is allowed to summon him once. After that you have to fight him again.

So do we think the fights will continue to exist in 2.0? If you have to fight them to gain the ability to summon them, and you can only gain that ability after 2.0... I don't see how the fights could be taken out

i was really hoping the primal claim system would be something like rifts "rift" system were its open world and you see the sky and weather change and everyone rushes to the area to battle it. Instead of first claim system have some sort of scoring system like hamlets have.
