Can and should are not the same thing, if we condensed buttons just for the sake of it and Jobs played like in PvP it'd be extremely boring imo.
Basically every other MMO is already like this and plays almost like a button masher, FFXIV is different and it's why I love the combat in FFXIV.

yeah not all of them for sure but in terms of engagement for me there is little to no difference between hitting the same button 3 times or pressing 1-2-3 in always the exact same order.
or mch heat blast / autocross bow hitting 2 to activate overheat then just hold down shift while i do my overheat rotation as i have Hypercharge bound to 2.

And Heat blast bound to shift 2 same with auto cross bow spread shot is on 9 auto is on shift 9.
Its all the same to me just one require more steps and screen space then the other there is no " skill " to it

Option to choice which version of aoutfit we get like male with female versa vice versa

Or better yet when making a character put a preference style option so if you want male to only get the feminine verses it will and same for other side.

Other compainion options than chocobo

Adopt a baby beast tribe
Make what god/goddess u pick matter

Rng abilitys like fans, sch extra heal bonus thing should be on crit not ranged
