Seriously, though. I am starting to feel like I am being griefed by the game...

So, at about 10:30PM, I notice a new plot has opened up and, to my surprise, it was not already swarming with other players. So, I plant myself down and commence with the clicks. 11PM comes, and that is our bedtime, so my husband goes to bed. I stay up, because this is the best house buying opportunity I have seen yet.The devaluation timer was at somewhere above 14 hours when I started.

I have gotten through most of the night with no problems, clicking away. One or two people wandered up occasionally, but they did not stay for long. I got SO excited when I finally hit the 6 hour territory. I thought to myself, "gee, hopefully I can go to bed soon." But nah... I am still going. It is now 5:30AM as I write this.

I just want to go to bed... I am so tired, but my husband wants a house so bad... It figures that the best opportunity we find to actually beat out other players for a house is one of those unlucky "longer than 8 hours" houses... I am SO tired...

There is a hidden 24 hour timer on a plot when it releases. Every 6 hours it gets an update... meaning a price drop unless the hidden timer on it is depleted in which case the plot becomes available for instant purchase. Only issue being is that houses can have a timer reaching from 6 hours to 7-8-9-24.... so you'd have to click "constantly". No wonder botters are winning the fight... Yoshi promissed a "bandage" fix with the expansion release though so we'll see if this change will matter or not.

So I have heard, but the husband wants his house :/ At least if I was playing the game or something, this would not be so bad. But this has been a wasted and sleepless for zero reward currently, and I am not guaranteed anything either. One of the randos who pop by, looking for a house, might get lucky clicks :/

Thank you I actually was successful. At 6:56AM the land unlocked and it is now mine, so I will have a nice surprise for my husband when he wakes up. But yeah. 8.5 hours... Ugh...

I'm excited for a number of the changes and new content but one thing Id very much like more info on is housing. I'm aware the there will be separate plots for FCs and individual housing. A roulette system meant to make camping a plot obsolete, and first come first serve housing available for purchase at the beginning. What I'm NOT clear on is a number of things; How will relocations be handled in this system? Someone who has a home and wishes to relo into one of the new plots. Will they have preferential treatment to bypass the roulette timers? The relocation timers seems so fast, allowing trolls and players to jump in and out of plots, resetting timers and causing a lot of otherwise patient people to lose their cool. Maybe extending the cooldown time between relocations to a full 24 hours? Make people more conscious of their choices when they move. Will this new system be just for the new location or will it be across all wards in all districts? When inserting your money deposit for a house in the roulette system, will you immediately receive your money if the house sells to another player? Will you receive it in the mail as an item since mail only allows for 1 mil a message? I'm merely asking for clarifications because I've heard so many rumors. I know the actual housing isn't opening up til 6.1, several months after the release of Endwalker. But something official to whet out metaphorical teeth on. or at least someone we can ask?
