Assistance with reclaiming items

Hello all and merry Endwalker-almost-here!

Over this last Summer I was unfortunately able to login to FFXIV due to a graphics card I had failing on me. During that that I had a house that was demolished :'( BUT I respect that I can't get that back.

What I am more curious about is how would one go about obtaining the items that were in the house including the gil used to pay for the house? I am not sure if I can even obtain it, but it just sucks as I wasn't able to play the game due to hardware limitations

Ordinarily, housing items (and the 80% refund of gil paid to the system for the plot) would be held by the ward's Resident Caretaker NPC after auto-demolish. However one only has 35 days after demolish to reclaim said items/gil.


Considering we're already well into this Autumn, I'm afraid it's most likely that the period for reclamation has passed and those items/gil are gone forever.


If you were on my DC I'd be willing to spot you some funds to get back on your feet. Hopefully there are like-minded charitable people on your DC that can help out.

I appreciate that ^_^ I will check the caretaker tonight, but don't have much hope as it has to have been far more than 30 days by now. I am not as worried about the gil, but I put a TON of time into crafting everything for that house. Got all my crafting jobs to 70 mainly for that very reason lol.
