    Can't report ingame Hackers

After discovering quite a few players who are using some third party tools to run lightning fast or fly without a mount through the map, i wanted to report them.

But after i got to three different Square Enix support websites, where i couldn't even attach any screenshots i gave up.

It's no secret that the Square Enix Websites were always terrible and confusing.
But that it got to the point where i can't even get in touch with the support in a propper and simple way is really concerning.

    To sum it up:

    - Don't know where to get in touch with the support, because of too many confusing websites
    - Can't attach any screenshots or videos that are essential for the case
    - Can't see my ticket history to keep track of the cases

So it would be nice to find some help here.

To preface, when you make a report, screenshots aren't required. All SE would need is the date/time, server, and name of character you suspect, in order to investigate.

However, if you absolutely, positively want to include screenshots, simply upload them to an image hosting service (like Imgur, or Flickr, or Photobucket, or any of your choice) and then include links to the screens in your submission.

An easy analogy to understand is a professional car race. Yes, you might have an excellent camera and get excellent pictures of the cars whizzing by, but the racing teams have that car monitored literally hundreds of different ways via computer. If you go to the team to report a problem, your videos and pictures aren't going to provide any insight they don't already have.

SE has data, believe me. Movements down to the millisecond, location, actions taken, chat spoken (both private and public), emotes used, delay between mouse clicks, etc., etc. You give a name, server, date and time, and they look up the character and see their position(s) changing in a way that shouldn't be possible. EZPZ.

That being said, direct answers to your questions:

    - Support can be easily reached via the in-game support menu (System -> Support Desk -> Contact Us -> Report Cheating)
    - "/Supportdesk" typed in the chat box will also bring up the support menu.
    - Screenshots and videos are not essential to the case. They may be useful, in some cases, but they aren't essential. If you feel you must submit them, see the above advice.
    - Your ticket history can be accessed via the same methods above, at the Support Desk in-game.

Here is a web-based contact system should you choose that route. This was unknown to me prior to this post, but I found it by simply Googling "report ffxiv cheating". /shrug

You'll want to scroll down the page until you see the "Report a Case to the Special Task Force" section. And again, if there's no option to directly include pictures and video, upload that data elsewhere, and include links to it/them in your submission.
