"If you want something, don't ask for it. Go out and win it, do that and you will succeed!"

This is nice, I hope lots of Gungnir folk see this cos tonight there was only us and one other group not going into Garuda 5 BLM 1 BRD 1 WAR 1 WHM lol.
you know the blm did 50% of the damage tho lol

See goes to show if you know how to play your jobs you don't need to use such boring party setups

They should give special achievement for doing this in every content to encourage every LS do it.
FFXIV : ARR all instance boss gameplay video can be found here..

It's not that we didn't think people could do it, it's that people choose NOT to do this. They always go for the most boring, easiest way out while telling others who don't have a specific class to get lost. It's sad because I'm still seeing select class/job only parties for Ifrit still lol.
I can't like that video enough.

There's a reason I am so in favor of tuning content so that there's no excuse to NOT bring a balanced and diversified comp for bosses.It's not that we didn't think people could do it, it's that people choose NOT to do this. Seconded.
You'll be able to gloat when I see this sort of comp used by most or every group running Garuda and all future content. Until then, this is the exception, not the rule.
Anyway, nice vid. Just wish I could better see how that PLD is playing so I could take some notes.
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)
That just show that if ppl know how to play their classes well, they can do it. The problem is, they don't. If you form a party randomly , chances you pull it out like in the video are pretty slim. The way I see and experienced , most get owned for AF because they lack coordination to take feathers out.It's not that we didn't think people could do it, it's that people choose NOT to do this.
