Thug's Mug Item

I recently noticed that I am missing my Thug's Mug quest reward from the Breaking Brick Mountains collaboration in-game event, despite completing the event. I tried to locate the item through the Calamity Salvager NPC, but cannot seem to find it in the available listed items. I also tried to complete the event quests again, but also was not able to claim the reward.

After submitting an in-game support ticket, I was told that the item could not be recovered. Although this was very disappointing, I was even more confused as to why this particular item was not available on the Calamity Salvager. This means that it is currently impossible for me to have this event reward. I was told by the in-game support to make a post here on these forums. I hope I can find some answers here. Posting to say I'm in the same boat. Can't find Thug's Mug in the Calamity Salvager. The quest vendor is only selling the King's Slime hat. Disappointed that the quest isn't replayable for rewards to grab that missing item.
