Bard still being a visual eyesore.
Bard still being a visual eyesore.
I feel the opposite way. I don't mind Burst Shot, but I'd pay to have my non-Heated MCH animations back. They just have way too much stuff going on.
It is not unreasonable to want a Bard that has more visual musical effects as opposed to arrow magic. Thematic confusion like this turns people off from touching the class. It might feel so fun to play, but if it looks boring, then it's pretty difficult to convince someone to go for it as opposed to something like Dancer which feels fun and looks amazing.
At least at level 90 they finally get some kind of visual song aura. That they should have gotten in ARR if not Heavensward at the earliest.
personally i wish they'd remove the bard part as a ranger main in ff 11 i rather have a pure archerIt is not unreasonable to want a Bard that has more visual musical effects as opposed to arrow magic. "Stop right there, criminal scum! Nobody breaks the terms of service on my watch! I'm reporting your illegal mods, now enjoy your time in gm jail."

Two more years of Glarebroil spam.
At least we can weave into Glarebroil now.
Monk.
Monk has a rework that seems great at first, but that was also the case for Stormblood Monk and Shadowbringers Monk. And we are once again getting an unfinished rework that is missing core, integral parts.
- Anatman still does not do anything of any value whatsoever
- Basically every single OGCD was rolled into the Blitz system and there are no replacements
- Tornado Kick is being removed ENTIRELY at level 90, for a less pretty skill
- You still do your level 50 rotation all day, just with poor backflips inbetween.
- Their one source of OGCD SPam will be Forbidden Chakra during Brotherhood, which will proc between every Monk GCD.
- The latter change makes monk a poor solo job.
- All the buff timings do not line up with Monk's strongest moments, or raid wide buff windows.
- First-Time-Ultimate Clearers on Monk already said that it looks like it will need 25 seconds of pre-pull buffing to make the buffs line up.
- Monk losing Shoulder Tackle Exacerbates the lack of OGCDs. The teleports are a bandaid.
- Tornado Kick going away is such a travesty I will list it twice.
- Actually I will list Tornado Kick being removed thrice.
- Riddle of the Wind does nothing but buff your autoattacks. Complete meme skill.
- All your level 50 rotation skills still look exactly as they did five years ago. No exceptions. Compare to Dragoon or anyone else really.
- The Beast Chakra abilities are AoEs, while the actual AoE buttons don't give you the buffs. Random, and pointless.
- Fist stances going away just takes away gameplay variety on Monk.
That's a long list just for issues I can tell at a glance without having been a Monk main for long, or ever really. I only played it for a few months since the half rework in Shadowbringers.
