Gladiator lvl 80 challenge

Just a curious question for anyone doing this: do you at least try to use trusts whenever you can? The only story dungeons/trials you can't use trusts for currently are in Stormblood. Surely mighty challengers like yourselves would want to make sure that you get the full extent of your challenge by making sure that random skillful players can't do most of the heavy lifting for you in dungeons and trials.

Well, they would if they were actually interested in some sort of challenge. In reality all class only does is lower the skill ceiling.

For challenge u can go grind something, or go pvp, savages, solo stuff and etc.
This one is more about "curiosity", just to check out how it even works.
I play conjurer in Normals, coz I like how it works: mana management, gear tweaks (piety), additional assist macros for targeting and stuff, food buffs and potions, focusing more on other players locations and movings and etc.
Most healers dont even use Rescue when they can, some healers misuse half of their skills, some of them dont even borther about gear melds and food buffs, but nobody complains about that, guess why? Coz its Casual content (Normal Duty Finder), where people are just having fun or getting used to game.

What are you curious about? That people can get carried in casual content. Congrats you've found that out. Why are you intentionally holding your group back? Because that's the big difference here: intent. Someone being bad at their job is just that that, bad at their job. Hopefully they'll put in the effort to become better. You're putting in effort to be worse.

Full Healing Jobs in normal duties are way to easy (for me!) and put (me!) to sleep everytime, so I am trying something more funny (for me!) with conjurer gameplay.

You're not just playing with yourself though. There are other people in your groups and while you will probably get away with this most of the time because people are afraid of conflict you are very annoying to them with this sort of selfish arrogance.

PS. I am getting away with that, coz people dont even notice most of the time, and coz I can keep up with my task.
I mean, you dont even know how I can perform as conjurer, and already made statements.

And I'm a very annoyed by players who struggle to hit healer level DPS on SAM and have 60% GCD uptime. But hey, that's fine "cause they are bad". Well, then it's also fine if I play Archer while outperforming them.

I'm not Yoshida's little pony to carry the baddies. "You don't pay my sub" and all that.

I think it is perfectly fine to try something new and different like this. However, it should probably be done only with Squadrons/Trusts or with a close group of friends who are willing to humor you, and not with random people in the DF. All you'll manage to do is drag them down and cause unnecessary tension.

Yup, I did a no jobstone E1N with my FC (during the second tier, so we did outgear it a touch) and it was fun, because everyone had agreed to it.
