Thread: 2.0 - How many more classes and jobs? Future considerations....

If they release a new class simultaneously with 2.0 (the final release - not beta), then there will be an influx of new players and it might work out ok... but I still think we will see at least 2-3 new classes with this priority: (**The jobs listed are what I would personally like to see)

1. Arcanist > Time Mage
2. Scout > Thief
3. Musketeer > Corsair/Gambler (or outside chance Red Mage)

After that people will want a pet class, so we'll get "Tamer > Beastmaster" or "Evoker > Summoner"

i dont think it would be hard to get partys together, everyone would just PL anyway.

That's a bad idea. If 2.0 is going to introduce low level content and make it worth while to explore the new zones... than power leveling is counter productive. I've done enough of PLing... i want new classes, new zonez, new story, new quests to explore in a new world.

I hope not to power level again until i've experienced the 2.0 content at lower levels at least twice.

brand new classes/jobs, you better believe everyone will PL, everyone's gonna wanna have the first 50...

The nice thing is that we have plenty of slots for chars, so I'm likely gonna make a 2nd char on a new server and use it for a fresh 2.0. game experience.

When I get bored/cap all my current jobs of course

Hmm... starting a new character to experience the 2.0 content? Great idea.. especially if the story quest is not available to people who've capped all their classes.
