    Well if its corruption problem ( i won't rule that out), i still find it strange that not everyone has that problem.
    Unless he has a very lousy connection maybe.

    No, since the patcher is based on torrents, it's virtually impossible to download a corrupted archive. Possible reasons are unstable RAM/CPU clocks, or a failing HDD, with the clocks being the more likely reason. I had one of my RAM sticks not handling the timings set by the manufacturer which resulted in random corrupted copy operations once.
