    7.0 We need new caster and ranged dps balance the score

    Isn't many opinions left to pull from at this point. tanks having 4 healers have 4 casters have 3 (dont even count blue-mage as actual class they should just move it too bonus jobs or whatever in fact its a meme job. re should pretend that job doesn't exist or its just mini game like golden sauser.

    we need actual real job do raids and stuff with. and another ranged dps.


    what type of ranged weapons could they use
    Roserio (that turns into a bow fires elemental arrows
    Heavy Crossbow
    Duel-Wield Crossbows

    Caster -
    Whips
    Magic Rings (make there hands look like claws have ff15 feel swords rotating around them)
    Large Bell

    Classes -

    - Mystic Ranger- this class is mix between a ranger and a mystic knight. a bows women. who enchants there attacks with elemental aether for explosive effects. rapid fire precision. and can call trusty animal companions to help them fight.
    Mystic Rangers pet is not a tame but a spirit creature of your own choosing. in ranger menu. it have somewhat a it have two tabs tank and dps tab you can switch when ever. sense you only have 1 pet. mystic rangers have power over nature. and use elemental spoirits to assist them in combat or has ability to shapeshift switching from melee to range

    -Sorcerer - Strong Ulilitity doesn't have raise. can imbue allies weapons with elemental magics cause combo's causes double amounts of damage. sorcerers weapon is a whip. having mid range feel. by enchanting themselfs and there whip they can do amazing damage. Sorcerers and black mages are no different both offer overwhelming damage. just one casting time on the enemy other casts on the allie or themselfs via buffs to deal there damage

    they just added a healer. don't think they instantly rapidly add another next expansion or a tank for that matter. but do want see chemist in the game. ranged dps are known to have heals and ulitity they bring to battle feild. chemist was organially a ranged dps in other final fantasy series. how it is added . dont see why they should add it now. as a healer. its better suited as a ranged dps. with good heals add as ulitity

    If they gonna make dot mage then this class would be. and cause use power of death and darkness to battlefeild. melt there foes

    -people mistaken chemist. with churigeons. in ff14 there two different things

    I woulda said make whips count as rphys dps, some hella long vine like whips would be cool. Gracefully whipping the sh*t out the boss and surrounding mobs.
    New caster, I'm not sure. Venomancer would be cool, also give ppl who miss SMN dots somewhere to go. Dot heavy and make it revolve around dmg over time completely.
    Tbh I would love a druid in ffxiv tho ik it would never happen. Let me turn into ferocious beasts as my rotation! Then again, the beasts in ff look weird, proportions on a lot of em are awful!

    No we do not. Ranged jobs are actually the most prevalent role right now if you consider that casters and physical ranged are actually subsets of that role.
    • 4 tanks (PLD, WAR, DRK and GNB)
    • 4 healers (WHM, SCH, AST and SGE)
    • 5 melee (DRG, RPR, MNK, SAM and NIN)
    • 6 ranged (BRD, MCH and DNC + BLM, RDM and SMN)

    I expect the limit on full jobs is something like 20 total jobs as we are already seeing them run into the limit on their ability to create new weapons for 17 jobs. We do not really need any more casters or physical ranged full jobs. At most we might see 1 more melee job .

    Ranged are explicitly split into two categories, Magical and Physical Ranged respectively. This is because of Limit Break and Party Composition. SE has designed 8man content around 2 Tank/2 Healer/2 Melee/1 Caster/1 Ranged since ARR's launch, but modern standards allow us to assume the second melee slot is a flex pick. In addition, Blue Mage is a limited job, and therefore intentionally excluded from current content. As such, Victoria is at least right that we need a new caster and ranged DPS job. What I think SE should do, however, is only add one job from here on, unless they're planning on adding more tanks and healers (who really need attention, even Sage couldn't escape their homogeneity). At this point we only need one more of each DPS role, so spacing it out would be better, but if I were to ask for two jobs in 7.0, I would want a Scouting Melee DPS and a Caster DPS, as Scouting is the only melee armor set without a second job option at the moment. It would also allow more focus on reworking and tuning jobs to be more appropriate in all content.

    To further back up what Grimoire-M is saying, Yoshi-P talked about the Roles prior to Shadowbringers. From Letter from the Producer, LXII (05/09/2019):

    Only Two Physical Ranged DPS Jobs Are Currently Implemented

    As of Stormblood, there are three tank, three healer, four melee DPS, three magical ranged DPS, and two physical ranged DPS jobs. We believe that there is value in adding another physical ranged DPS to improve the balance of available roles, and so we decided to use one of our two new jobs to fill this need.
    While the community may lump Physical Ranged and Casters into one category, Yoshi-P and the dev team clearly do not.

    Actually we need more shield healers and regen healers since we are gonna have

    4 tanks, 2 shield healers, 2 regen healers, 3 physical ranged, 3 magical ranged, 5 melee dps.

    only expansion they did all 3 rows was heavenward. after 2 jobs at once this expansion we got a healer and melee dps -< end walker. finally got 4th healer. they need put there resources in two replacing healers/tanks at this point. removing this stable meta they have built where that one job is always taken to savage raids over the other should be such a slight difference that it doesn't even matter. liking a job cause cosmic how it feels to play is a thing am stick in tired the constant sch/ast meta with no room for white mage. and white mage being 4 man dungeon healer. same can be said about dark knight and tanking. with really bad old game design.

    I rather they fix those issues then add more healers/tanks at the moment. then them adding to already existing problem. were at same time we are caster/ranged dps classes also need a 4th. you cant ignore this fact. if want talk about chemist being healer. sorry thats not gonna work. what healing spells would they have, potion 1 hi potion seriously.. at least with chemist was ranged dps. they can bring support like abilities. heal or a hot deal alot damage. most of ranged dps have back up support healing anyway. or regen effect

    however magical ranged dps its been long time coming. only decent mage class we got was redmage. that alot of its issues still had be address. they had rework summoner its was terrible felt redmage did a better job then they did, had largest button rotation in the game. problem people in this game is they base this game purely only on end game raiding. I want better rotation I want more buttons on my bare. thats great and all. but what about new people playing this game. you forget you yourself was a new player you went through all that. so you want ruin that experence for them. just so you feel more excited in raiding. i agree with yoshi-p

    you should find your thrills in content itself then and mastering your class. watch no easy feat. you think your wonderful honestly never stop learning your job even if rotation is 1.2.3 what about abiltiies you weave inbetween your 1.2.3 what about other abilites dont talk about

    Square think about casuals a lot. We have got ranged dps job in every expansion until Endwalker.

    2.0 we got Summoner, Scholar and Ninja
    3.0 We got Astrologian, Dark Knight and Machinist
    4.0 We got Red Mage and Samurai (+ Blue Mage)
    5.0 We got Gunbreaker and Dancer

    6.0 Is the first expansion without new ranged dps.
