    Game suddenly running poorly on PC

    I'm on PC and starting this morning the game has been running super poorly. I noticed it first when selecting my character. When clicking on my character there was a noticeable delay from the time I clicked on my character to when the login confirmation window popped up. I didn't think anything of it until the loading screen came up and the little moogle at the bottom was stuttering up and down.

    After I was logged in the entire game was running horribly. All of the moving NPCs/objects were stuttering, walking around or moving my camera was delayed, and opening the system menu took at least 20 seconds, another 20 seconds for it to register that I clicked exit game, another 20 seconds for the logout prompt to appear, etc.

    Nothing has changed on my computer since playing last night without any issues. I've restarted my computer, changed the graphics to the lowest settings, and even uninstalled/reinstalled the game with no success in fixing the problem. I opened up another game (Horizon: Zero Dawn) to see if there was any issues there but that ran just fine. Not sure what the issue is or where to start to fix it.

    Wanted to throw in an update because I found the source of my issue (thanks to a post on the FFXIV subreddit). I have Citrix Workspace installed on my computer for work and for whatever reason was causing problems. Uninstalling and reinstalling the Citrix Workspace fixed it.
