In before "closed topic".I get it, you want to make sure that the story isn't hurt by all the different crossovers, it wouldn't make sense canon-wise... but you could always make it as 'non-canon" and be done with it.
Imagine a dungeon for famous Square Enix franchises: Mana, Dragon Quest etc.
Kind of like different Disney worlds in Kingdom Hearts series.
This would be fun and better than just a random dungeon full of frogs
I am playing Heroes of the Storm (by Blizzard) and I like how much homage the game pays to all the Blizzard games.

Well, to be honest there'd be a TON of legal copyright tape SE would have to work through if it's not within their own franchise/company ownership, and usually it's far too much effort than it's worth.
You could probably take a look into the Nier raid series if you want a dungeon crossover of sorts. We currently have the Dragon Quest crossover event going on, and we recently had the FF11 and FF14 collabs. We've also got the MHW trial if you're into that too.
This one is beyond your help. Only sleep can save her now.
Because they may not want to..?yeah but I mean if Blizzard did it, why can't Square Enix? o_O
they do collaborations for mobile games ALL the time. Then there's Dissidia Final Fantasy games, the card games with all the artwork
I'm still waiting on an online card game by SE but it looks like Voice of Cards is there to fill up that spot
Oh right, inb4closedtopic.
The question is - why should they?
We already get crossover on the FF franchise. It's a bit of a reach to pull in other games outside of that realm. They're actually taking a break from all that in Endwalker, which will have a lot of content original to XIV.
No thank you. I'm here for FFXIV and its lore. I'm not here to play those other games. If I had an interest in those other games, I'd go play them to get the full experience.
All crossovers do is take away developers from creating new content that would expand this game's lore.
