Hello.

Previously, I installed the game and changed very little about the video settings as I didn't understand them. I cranked everything in graphics to Normal/Weak/Low to stay safe. I did not also change the default resolution the game put me on. This has served me well ever since July 30. My game plays on 30-40 FPS, even when on battery.

Come to present day. I opened NVIDIA to change a shortcut that interfered with in-game binds. It seems that simply launching the app made it change settings by itself, optimizing everything. My resolution gets widened, shrinking everything - but most importantly, on battery the game is no longer playable. I either receive normal frames only for them to suddenly dip to 10 FPS, or the game just stays at 14-15 FPS.

I have fixed the resolution issue but even when I changed back everything to settings I do remember, the FPS problems stay. I have attempted to change things when NVIDIA was on, and I have changed them without NVIDIA on. My battery is also being gobbled up super fast thanks to this, and never before has my fan turned on before this loud.

Will a reinstall of the game with NVIDIA unlaunched change things? I'd really like to go back to just a few hours ago when I could get my 35 FPS consistently whether on battery or on charging...

If there is any other system information required I can provide. These are the specs I got off the system details on my laptop.
