With how the friendlist works right now, I sure hope something like this won't ever make it into the game. There is absolutely no need at all to go out of your way to notify a stalker that their prey has come online.

Sure, they can add this feature under one condition: automatically remove BOTH side of participant from their friend list when one of them decides to remove the other. Why? Because:
The "Why did they remove me..?"-situation is just plain inconceivable.
I think it's a shame that it's not a thing.
I'll need some clarification on 'how the friend list works right now', I do not understand the ability or limitation to which you are refering to. I may be inexpirienced in this but isn't that what the Blacklist is for? Heck, they could just player search or be in the FC too.
The current problem with the friendslist is the way removing a friend works - if you remove someone from your friendslist you're still on theirs. You dont actually "dissolve" the friendship and your name doesnt vanish from the other persons friendlist. Which means that they still have an easy way to tell if you're online, where you are and can teleport to your housing (if you've enabled that for friends). Adding them to your blacklist doesnt remove you from their friendslist either.I'll need some clarification on 'how the friend list works right now', I do not understand the ability or limitation to which you are refering to. This is problematic in situations where someone removes a friend because the relationship went downhill so that they really want to get away from that person - they might not be able to see anything their old friend does anymore, but old friend can see everything (hence the stalker refrences).
