    Fellowships

So um Why isnt there a chat like Ls and fc for fellowships? Not having a chat kimd of makes fellowships not completely effective.

They work for advertising things, such as discord servers, looking for statics, asking for a linkshell invite, looking for roleplaying groups, finding people interested in the same thing. Beyond that the fellowship needs to take you somewhere else like linkshells or discord.

A lot of people do check fellowships and many of them quickly fill up to 1,000. You might wonder who these 1,000 people are and they are most likely returning players, new players, people with no friends and no connections who are looking for how to get involved with the rest of the community. It's a good way to point them to websites, discord servers and other resources in my opinion.

Fellowships are message boards. They're not intended to have chat channels since we already have linkshells for that purpose.

If your concern is the number of members linkshells can have in comparison, that's due to system limitations. SE tried to increase the linkshell limit to 256 a while back and it caused their testing server to crash. It could be that once they're able to get their planned infrastructure update done, they'll be able to increase linkshell member limits.

I'll be honest, I wish linkshells worked a bit more like Novice Network so the limit is based on those actively online as opposed to be being limited by who has joined whether online or offline.
