Offensive 5 across the board, leaning on rogues and a marauder is frickin gross, no argument there.Squadrons are certainly not as smart, or role play fun, to use- but I do feel it is a bit inaccurate, comparatively speaking at least, to say they're not as good. Squadrons, when properly picked jobs and tactics, are much stronger than trusts even being able to complete content FASTER than even players in DF lol. They're one of the best ways to get exp during the frame that squadrons are actually useable.

Who’s saying they have to play with ai? Don’t strawman the discussion
I don't understand what's confusing.
- Kolaina is suggesting if you choose to play with trust first, you should have to queue directly for it (play with actual players) before it unlocks in your roulette. Not your Duty Finder, your Roulette.
- What Payadopa is suggesting is that Kolaina is saying you have to play with Trust first before you can play with players.
It's pretty simple. Playing with others players is not locked out for you in any circumstance. You don't have to do one or the other first, only that you have to direct queue for it with other players before you can earn bonuses through roulette.
Well, what did you mean then? What is that 'group' you're talking about before 'being tossed' in a roulette with others?
And try not to throw around buzzwords like strawman or toxic. Last time I checked this isn't Twitter.
Holy crap. I don’t use toxic for one. For 2, strawman is not a buzzword. You’re saying I’m suggesting something I didn’t. So either you’re strawmanning or you misread. Pick 1
Apparently a very real form of logical fallacy is now a "buzzword".
It's already stated in my previous post that you said Kolaina said it's required to play with trusts. No where in any of Kolaina's posts did they say that you have to play with trusts.
The "group" they are referring to is real people, which you would have to directly queue for. /sigh
I'd love that, long as they keep it slower than running with players so it doesn't make queue times suffer
Love running dungeons with the scions and friends
While trusts are godawful slow compared to a party of players -- by design; even if you want to go fast, they stubbornly refuse to use AoE abilities -- I admit I still like to run every dungeon with the Trust once, because watching the character interactions that can happen there, whether between each other or between the characters and the environment, honestly helped to flesh the Scions out and make them feel more like, in terms of the narrative, they were really there at my side through this journey in ways they hadn't been in previous expansions. I have a lot of favorite moments/interactions I've seen with the Trust NPCs in various ShB dungeons. So I absolutely get where OP is coming from on that "connection to the party members" aspect.
(Mind you, I generally only do it the once unless I have some second combination of characters where I really want to see whether they'll interact with each other or the dungeon itself in interesting ways. Because as mentioned, wow are the Trusts slow.)
I aim to make my posts engaging and entertaining, even when you might not agree with me. And failing that, I'll just be very, VERY wordy.Originally Posted by Packetdancer

So...the statement means I should have to do the trusts before I can play with other people? Cause that, I can kinda understand.
