I have found a few problems involving the maps and markers on them. My husband has deuteranopia, at least he cannot tell the reddish quest areas from the rest of the light tan map. I usually have to help him find the areas, unless he runs his mouse cursor over the map until it finds the area and the quest text pops up for the area on the map.
Would it be possible to set up a set up to help people who have a form of color blindness see the maps. I even have trouble sometimes, when I have been up too late (usually one of the animals in our household or my husband aren't feeling well), seeing the differences between the markers for the quest areas and the map color itself.
One solution I have come up with is allowing the player to change the color of the markers on the map. Another solution would be, if the player chooses a color blindness mode, like the one for deuteranopia. The color scheme for the map changes to something visible to that form of color blindness.
I have a filter on my computer to understand what my husband is seeing. I can see the problems for those who have a form of color blindness. I do know that there is an option for the various forms of color blindness, but it has not changed the map colorations.
Thank you. Ideas and additions for this suggestion is welcome.
