So in ShB XIV, current Blizzard II and Fire II would become Blizzara and Firaga respectively. In EW Blizzara would change to Blizzaga since it's going to become a target spell. More potency? Upgrade to Firaga/Blizzaga II via trait.
Cure and Cure II are fine. Cure III would become Cura. Medica would become Curaga (AS IT SHOULD BE), Medica II would be Curaja because it adds Regen.
Medica would be Cura (as it is cast around the WHM) and Cure III would be Curaga (as it is cast around the target). However, Medica II would not be Curaja as it is cast around the WHM with an additional effect. But I don't think the additional effect should count anyway and so let it be Cura II.

In FFXI, SE had to introduce Blizzaja, etc. instead of Blizzaga IV for players because these spells already existed and were used by mobs. Except they were cast very quickly (much more quickly than the corresponding -ga III) spells. So they made a long cast -ga like spell with an added effect and called it -ja.
