    Yeah, well when you're melee and doing a timed Leve and the godamn mole is on the opposite side of a 1ft cliff you have to spend a whole minute just to walk ALL the way around?

    Thanalan? La Noscea was even worse IIRC. You see the destination right in front of you but for some unholy reason there were invisible walls everywhere just because of some miserable small elevations scattered around.

    And to say nothing of the goddessawful 1.0 Black Shroud.... Not for no reason was the original 1.0 Black Shroud BGM called Emerald Labyrinth, it really was a horrible arboreal maze with a few small clearings scattered around. Urrghhh...

    Fear of the elementals? 1.0 Gridanian players feared just having to navigate that whole damn forest.....

    Direct route to Gridinia... nope! You ran into LEVEL 80 mobs and a NM randomly spawned called Jackanapes... and he would one shot you...
