Mained Red Mage up to EW and the "new" RDM only makes me want to double down on that. It looks exceptional and they basically made all of the changes to the job that I wanted them to (which was basically just to shore up the shoddy AoE). I've fairly recently started playing BLM and I really enjoy it but see it as more secondary to RDM. The new SMN looks great to me and I can't wait to try it but, again, it's not RDM.

When tanking I've ended up using GB but I might be checking out the adjusted PLD to see if I enjoy it more than I did before. I've always loved the esthetic of a Paladin but in actual play PLD has felt sort of wonky and odd to me after it really gets into having a magic phase. But I rarely tank so this won't be a big change either way.

For healing, I'll be sticking with AST. I've always just used Diurnal anyway so the loss of Noct feels like nothing to me and some of the new tools sound fun.

Not really sure what to say about Ranged since it's already my least used role. I'll probably stick with Dancer but, yeah, didn't care much before and don't care now.

Melee is really where I'm most uncertain. SAM looks fine but somehow not exciting. NIN looks okay but I'm not sure about how the new Ninjutsu combos will feel to use. DRG looks fine but not really exciting beyond what it already is. Something about "new" MNK just doesn't really appeal to me though I'm eager to try it at least. RPR is just not for me. So, I guess I'll try MNK and then go for DRG if I don't like it? I guess. Don't really know.
